The NEXUS Gas Transmission Pipeline system, consisting of a 256-mile interstate pipeline with current capacity of approximately 1.4 Bcf per day with three compression facilities with 99,000 horsepower installed, provides transport for natural gas from the Marcellus/Utica shale formations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia to markets, directly and indirectly, in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Ontario, Canada and has a diverse mix of demand pull and supply push customers. NEXUS Gas Transmission Pipeline is a joint venture between Enbridge Inc. (50%) and DTE Midstream (50%) and is operated by Enbridge Inc.
